Two members of parliament have put government on pressure to come up with a  genuine inquiry into the poisoning of people in the country  ,the trend that has put many people, especially legislators on Tenterhooks.

Mukono municipality MP,Betty Nambooze and Kyadondo East MP,Ibrahim Semuju Nganda while addressing the press on Thursday   said that the whole country is in a fear about how people most especially politicians are poisoned.

Hon Nambooze told reporters that government needs to constitute a genuine committee to inquire how leaders of this country are poisoned , where the poison comes from and how it enters the country.

She cited out the Makindye West MP Hussein Kyanjo who has been poisoned according to the doctors in Dubai. Mrs Bakireke added that Hon Kyanjo now needs over 75M shillings to go for further treatment in US.

“Requesting for a genuine inquiry into this matter is not a suggestion of the opposition but it’s a suggestion of concerned Ugandans” She said

“We are going to put this matter before parliament immediately when it comes back from the recess. We want MPs to support us .We also need a genuine committee to investigate on poison in the country or else leaders will continue to die” Said  Semuju Nganda

Hon Semuju also cited out the Vice president who was rushed to the hospital recently with fear that  he was poisoned.

These angry MPs pointed fingers to the president  who moves  with his food and toilet whenever he goes.

“Mr Museveni does not share any thing with  any body in this country. We don’t know why he does it may be he is with a fear that some dangerous people in this country will give him poison”Hon Semuju said

The MPs also said that they have started fasting even those who are not Muslims because they are with a fear that they might be poisoned from the parliamentary canteen.

“We are going to start coming with our packed food and water from our home to with the purpose of protecting our lives as if we are nursery kids”Mr Semuju noted
