As many government officials had fun in Munyoyo during the wedding of the Deputy Speaker of parliament Jacob Oulanyah ,some MPs were at their respective homes .They chose not to appear despite being invited.

According to the source that attended the wedding in Munyonyo, out of the 375 MPs who were invited to attend the wedding only 30 responded to their invitations.

The source also told us that of 30 MPs  who attended, 29 were NRM ,one from the opposition and  no independent MP attended.

Although MPs snubbed the wedding ,so many dignitaries including President  Museveni, the first Lady, Janet Museveni,Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga, chief Justice  Benjamin Odoki among others attended the wedding ceremony.

Mr Olulanya married Winnie Amoo the daughter of Santa Okoti the former MP of Igago district.
