Members of parliament says the country has lost a very senior citizen of who will not be replaced for quite a long time.
The Ntenjeru south MP Patrick Nsanja described the late James Mulwana as a good employer who has been giving jobs to many youth of this country compared to other investors.
“The late Mulwana was a senior citizen, industrialist and a good employer of the youth. He was corrupt free and accountable to URA because he has been paying taxes in time,” Hon Nsanja noted

“He has also been promptly paying all both URA and his employee added that Mr Mulwana has promoted the tax base of this country,” He added
Mawokota south MP, Joseph Bbosa Kiyingi described the late Mulwana as one of the true patriots of this nation.
“Mr Mulwana shall always be remembered for being a true patriot of this country. He has been employing over 5000 Ugandans. He has also contributed to the strengthening Buganda government. We shall dearly miss him all the time” MP Bbosa Kiyingi said
Luwero district woman MP Brenda Nabukenya also described the late Mulwana as a great man who will be greatly missed .
The Kalungu west MP Joseph Sewungu said that the late Mulwana has been a business man who has been benefiting the whole country.
“He has been a corrupt free man .He worked for his wealth not attached to government money. He has played a very big part toward the development of this nation. He has been a man of Buganda Kingdom. Respecting his King the Kabaka of Buganda. May his soul rest in eternal peace” said Kalungu west MP Joseph Sewungu
The late Mulwana owned many business in this country which included; Uganda Batteries Limited, Nice House of Plastics Limited, Jesa Farm Dairy Limited, Nsimbe Estates Limited, Jesa Investments Limited, Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA), Standard Chartered Bank Uganda Limited, Royal Kingdom of Thailand, BATU Limited, East Africa Development Bank Limited among others
According to doctors, Mulwana might have died from stomach complications after he was admitted at Nakasero hospital complaining of stomach pains.
He was born on July 24th 1936 died at 76years.He was a married man with only three children.
