A group of MPs who have been soliciting signatures to have the house recalled have handed in their petition to the office of the speaker of parliament ,Rebbecca Kadaga.
The Mps managed to obtain the constitutional number of signatures required to recall parliament from recess.The petitioners have 129 signatures in relation to the required 125 signatures.
Some of the MPs who appeared at the speaker’s office to hand in a petition included ;Joseph Ssewungu, Gerald Karuhanga,Mohamed Nsereko, Barnabas Tinkasimire among others.
The MPs were scheduled to meet Speaker Rebecca Kadaga last week , but failed to honour the appointment.
