By Our Reporter

Buyaga county MP Barnabus Tinkasimire has questioned  the NRM disciplinary committee as  to why it did not summon the ministers who were caught red handed in corruption scandals.

Hon Tinkasimire was expressing dissatisfaction to the NRM party to why the names of rebel MPs  were  forwarded to disciplinary committee to be queried for going against party decisions.

He said that instead of forwarding them to the disciplinary committee, they should first summon the ministers who were caught in corruption scandals.

“President Museveni doesn’t want to blame his ministers. He should first discipline Kabakumba Masiko, Kidhu Makubuya and Syda Bbumba for getting involved in corruption scandals before summoning us. President Museveni wants to discipline ‘ the Sekikubo group’ because they always talk about the truth,” Hon Tinkasimire said

“Mr Museveni’s ministers are real thieves but he doesn’t want to discipline them. The party should first dismiss them before others” He added

Hon Tinkasimire added that the residents of Buyaga have warned police not to be attempted at any single moment to arrest their MP in unclear circumstances like the way Baryomunsi and Sekikubo were arrested.

Hon Tinkasimire noted that the resident’s threatened to return NRM cards as one of the immediate actions to express dissatisfaction in case police arrests Tinkasimire in unclear circumstances.
