Kampala central MP, Mohammed Nsereko has vowed not to attend the NRM party retreat which is to take place in Kyankwanzi starting on Friday ,January 11  .

While addressing journalists at parliament Nsereko said that he feels uncomfortable for him to be in Kyankwanzi when he knows that whatever they discuss in such retreats is  never implemented.

He added that the retreat is useless and therefore he will instead use the time of the retreat collecting developmental views from  his constituency.

He however said that it’s his personal decision not to attend the retreat saying that he does not discourage other members  from attending.

Hon Nsereko further said that unless the party focuses on issues that affect Ugandans such retreats will remain irrelevant to the majority Ugandans.

Over 300 NRM members will gather at national leadership institute in Kyankwazi to discuss party issues.
