Kampala central Member of Parliament Mohamed Nsereko has vowed not to appear before the disciplinary committee of National Resistance Movement (NRM).
The government chief whip Kasule Lumumba is said to have logged a complaint to the NRM National Disciplinary Committee accusing some MPs of breaching the NRM code of conduct of which he is part.
Nsereko told journalists at parliament, that he has more important matters to handle than appearing before the committee.
“I don’t see why i have to appear before the party disciplinary committee because i have done nothing apart from speaking the truth,” Hon Nsereko said
He also threatened not to support president Museveni in the 2016 presidential elections. “I have my own reasons to why i will not support him if he has plans of standing for presidential seat in 2016″ Hon Nsereko added
Other MPs who were summoned by NRM disciplinary committee includes, Vencent Kyamadidi MP Rwampara County, Theodore Sekikubo MP Rwemiyaga County, Wilfred Niwagaba MP Ndorwa West and Mohammed Nsereko MP Kampala central.
The outspoken MPs from the ruling NRM risk to be expelled from the party for criticizing its chairman, and always be against the party positions in Parliament.
