The Minister of Information and National Guidance, Mary Karoro Okurut has dismissed media allegations that the first Deputy Prime Minister, Eriya Kategaya is in coma.

Minister Karoro says that Hon. Kategaya is in stable condition and responding well to medication in Nairobi Hospital.

She added that Kategaya felt unwell over the weekend and after consultations with his personal doctors, he was advised to shift to Nairobi Hospital where he is currently under doctor’s observations.
