The LCI Vice chairperson of Akurudia village in Juma parish, Denis Obuiny, reportedly found the body parts of a 25 year old man -Patrick Otim who was allegedly eaten up by a crocodile.
Obuiny told residents that he had received reports about Otim’s disappearance over the weekend.
Obuiny said that he mounted a search with some villagers along the river Nile, inside Murchison Falls Wildlife conservation area because he was told the Otim had gone there fishing.
The Akurudia village Vice Chairperson said that Otim’s body was recovered but with several body parts missing.
He added that Otim went fishing with another colleague only identified as Onencan on Saturday who left before he was eaten up.
Otim’s body was been taken to Oyam Police station on Monday and that it will later on be given to the relatives for burial.
