A man got drunk and got down on his mother and defiled her much to the shock of residents.

34-year-old David Ojok a resident of Opiki village, Lalongi sub-county in Gulu district defiled his 56-year-old mother before being rescued by her daughter who heard her cries for help.

Ojok was arrested by police and will be charged with incest which is punishable according to Penal Code Act with a maximum sentence of seven years in prison. Gulu police chief James Asubu said that by the time of the incident, Ojok was drunk, and ruled out a mental disorder situation.

Asubu said that upon interrogation, the victim admitted her son had defiled her.
