The parliamentary Committee on Public Service and Local Government has summoned the KCCA lord mayor Elias Lukwago together with her boss Jenifer Musisi on Monday next week over the petition which was presented at the floor of parliament last year by Mukono municipality MP Betty Nambooze on behalf of division councilors and the lord mayor.

The committee which is chaired by Kalungu district woman MP Florence Kintu wants the KCCA leaders to explain the adherence of the authority to the KCCA Act 2010.

Last year the lord mayor Elias Lukwago together with mayors of division urban councils and Authority councilors petitioned parliament through  Mukono Municipality MP ,Hon Nambooze seeking for the intervention of parliament to probe or cause a probe into matters pertaining to the mismanagement of KCCA.

The petitioners specifically want an explanation on the abuse and refusal to adhere to the provisions of the KCCA Act 2010 by Jenifer Musisi resulting into maladministration poor service delivery and anarchy in the capital city.
