Here are the names of prominent Ugandan officials who were convicted of different crimes  and are  now sleeping in Luzira prisons.

1.Capt.Mike Mukula

The Anti-Corruption Court  found Captain Mike Mukula guilty of embezzling Shs210m Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) funds meant for the HIV/AIDS victims. He was sentenced to 4 years at Luzira Maximum prison.

2.Akbar Hussein Godi ,the former Arua municipality MP

He  entered Luzira prisons in 2011.He was charged for murdering his wife Rehma Ceasar .

3. Kato Kajubi

Kajubi  sponsored  the ritual murder of a 12 year old Joseph Kasirye a pupil of Kayugi Primary School in Mukungwe sub-county in Masaka district on October 27, 2008.

4.Lydia Draru, this lady will be always remembered by the public for killing the former UPDF army commander James Kazini.

5.Adam Karungi, who was charged for killing the 24year old lawmaker Cerina Nebanda.

6.Desh Kananura, this man was charged for killing his employee.

7.Teddy Sezi Kyeye,

Others are Richard Alinaitwe, Tonku Nkulungira, and Hon Kipoi Tonny among others.
