Liberty Ross has decided it is too much to hold onto a relationship with her cheating husband and decided to call it quits.

Ross has filed for divorce from husband, Rupert Sanders who had a brief affair with Twilight star, Kristen Stewart. Their affair was publicized by Us Weekly which published pictures of them sharing an intimate moment. The two were shooting a movie together, Snow White and the Huntsman in which Sanders was the director and Stewart stirred as Snow White.

The couple has been together for more than nine years and have two children, 8-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son. Ross filed for divorce on Friday in Los Angeles citing irreconcilable differences.

She is however seeking joint custody of the children and spousal support from her estranged husband.

TMZ, which first reported the filing, stated that Sanders also filed divorce paperwork but it was not available on Monday.

Stewart, who has been dating “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattinson, apologized for her fling with Sanders in July after it was revealed by US Weekly.
