The program of NRM retreat in Kyankwanzi has been reduced from 10 Days  to 7 Days to favour the wedding of the Deputy Speaker of Parliament ,Jacob Oulanyah which is due to take place on January 19th.

The NRM secretary General Amama Mbabazi told members in Kyankwanzi that the program has been changed to 7Days to enable members attend the wedding of the deputy speaker.

“We have to do the work of 10Days in just 7 Days to enable members go and attend the wedding of our colleague the deputy speaker. It will look bad if we fail to attend the wedding of Oulanyah,”Mr Mbabazi noted

Mr Oulanyah  will walk down the Isle with Winnie Amoo Okot who introduced him to her parents over the weekend.Oulanyah  has been single  since  his wife passed away  in 2008 .

So many dignitaries from inland and the neighboring countries have been invited. The president is also expected to attend too.

A close source told Uganda Picks that the  MPs will attend Oulanyah’s wedding in Munyonyo but  will not to eat anything there since their colleague Nebanda was poisoned in Munyonyo.
