The Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority Jennifer Musisi has denied the allegations by the Lord Mayor ,Erias Lukwago that she and her appointed assistants get exorbitant salaries from the authority ,with some of her workers less qualified for the work.

On Monday ,Jennifer Musisis appeared at the local government and public service committee of parliament committee chaired by Kalungu district woman MP, Florence Kintu and rubbished the allegations made by  the mayor .

Mayor Erias Lukwago had appeared at the committee earlier and  told the committee  that the director in charge of community development in KCCA earns more salary than him.

He said that he only earns 16million shillings compared to the director community development in KCCA who earns 22million shillings and the assistant to the executive director who pockets 20millions a month.

However in defense ,the executive director made it clear to the committee that the mayor is wrong about her salary adding that she has no powers to determine the people’s salaries at KCCA.

The Mayor claimed that Jennifer Musisi earns 43million shillings and he earns  16million shillings,Executive director assistant 20 million shillings,Director community development 22 million shillings,Executive director driver 8million shillings ,Councilor’s 4million shillings etc.

The executive director also denied allegations that there is a safe house in the city meant for torturing people.Musisi said that the plot on Ssezibwa road talked about by the mayor is meant for storing impounded goods .
