Many Kampala streets were left flooded after Wednesday’s heavy downpour.Yusuf Lule Road ,Clock Tower ,Namasuba and parts of Kyambogo were left impassable and were being avoided by city dwellers by press time .

Many of the cars in the affected streets were immersed in water and no pedestrians were using the highly flooded routes.

Jinja Road roundabouts,  Seventh Street, Industrial Area flooded and forced some motorists to desert their vehicles as they could not drive through the flooded streets.

Users of these roads have called upon Kampala Capital City authority to work on the drainage in these areas since they have become a risk during the rainy season.

By press time no death had been reported so far.
