The Kabaka of Buganda was the first person to make a call with Buganda Kingdom’s K2 Telecom .The new Ugandan telecom company was launched at Lubiri Mengo on December 31 during  CBS’s Enkuuka celebration.

The Kabaka expressed gratitude over the  clear signals of  K2 Telecom .The Telecom whose calling code is  “0730” covers the entire country.

During the same event ,the Kabaka urged hundreds of his subjects to work harder in the new year  2013.He urged them to use all  lawful and possible means to improve on to their livelihoods and help the Kingdom develop a step forward.

He launched the new year with a key attracting cheers from Buganda royalists.
