Joseph Kony the leader of  the Lord’s Resistance Army Joseph Kony is said to be  in  Southern Darfur,  South Sudan.

The UPDF Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Aronda Nyakairima told the press on Tuesday that Joseph Kony may be hiding in Darfur due to the loose governance in the South Sudan region.

Nyakairima however stressed that the UPDF  soldiers have doubled their efforts for the rebel leader .He added that recently his chief bodyguard known as Brigadier Binani was killed .

Binani was  in charge of supplying child soldiers,he had been on the move between Sudan, DR Congo and Central African Republic. UPDF says its latest intelligence reports indicate that Kony has also been moving about from Democratic Republic of Congo ,Central African Republic and Sudan and he is now believed to be Darfur.
