Singer Jose Chameleon is now a free man .He has been relieved of the case involving  an intruder who was burnt  at his home on December 26th.

The Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) yesterday  ruled that the self proclaimed East African number One singer ,Chameleon   is innocent and has no case to answer.

The DPP argued that immediately after the incident occurred at his home ,Jose rushed to Kajjansi Police Station and reported a case of Criminal Trespass.

On Boxing day ,the family of Jose Chameleon woke up in shock when a man identified as Robert Karamagi appeared at his home in Seguku and set himself ablaze.He was rushed to Mulago Hospital from where he died of severe burns.

The father  of the late Robert Karamagi ,Maj.Benedicto Kyamanywa  had told police to investigate the matter to its logical conclusion.He alleged that his son was just murdered at the singers home.
