Marc Anthony has broken up with his girlfriend, Shannon de Lima.

The couple has been together for a year. However, Marc Anthony and Shannon de Lima broke up after Marc Anthony had a secret meeting with his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony secretly met up a few days before the break up.

“Marc is no longer dating model Shannon de Lima,” his spokesperson Blanca Lasalle confirmed. “The amicable breakup became official right in mid-January.”

De Lima and Anthony went public with their romance last January on Twitter when Anthony called De Lime ‘my statue of liberty’. According to a source, although they had a great time, things stopped working. “The truth is they have been having a great time together, but it no longer worked.”

Anthony, 44, and Jennifer Lopez, 43, were married for seven years. Lopez is currently dating her back-up dancer, Casper Smart for over a year. It is said the two met at his New York hotel, The Mark. Lopez is mother to four-year-old twins Emme and Max and Anthony is their father. A source said Lopez spent two and a half hours at the hotel. “He came out really quickly, with his head down, like he didn’t want to be seen.”

Lopez and Anthony separated in July 2011 and Marc filed for divorce in April 2012.
