James Mulwana, an industrialist and businessman who died on Tuesday morning is to be buried today at his ancestral home in Masiriba, along Hoima road.
According to close family Members, it was Mulwana’s desire to be buried as soon as he dies because he never wanted people to miss work mourning for him.
He desired to be buried on the same day he dies .According to family members , he stated that in case he died in the morning they bury him that same day. And if he died at night they bury him the next day .However family members decided to bury him the next day to give enough time to mourners to gather at the burial grounds and also accord him a decent burial.
The people of the Kingdom of Thailand had requested his burial to be extended to Saturday so that they can attend and pay the last respect but the family members did not allow this saying that they had to respect his wish.
Politicians and people from the business community have paid tribute to the Late Mulwana and have hailed him for his hard work, business personality , love for his country and the desire to create jobs especially among the youth.
James Mulwana, developed stomach pain on Sunday night as he was coming from his Jesa farm in Busunju. On Monday his wife Sarah Mulwana took him to International Hospital Kampala and several tests were done. He was transferred to Nakasero Hospital from where the situation got worse and he was put on oxgyen. He was however announced dead at 3:00am.
Though the real cause of Mulwana’s death is not yet known, the doctors have attributed it to stomach complications.
Mulwana is survived by a wife, Sarah Mulwana and three children Primrose, Barbara and Jeffery.
