Industrialist, James Mulwana died today morning at Nakasero Hospital at 5:00am.
According to doctors, it is suspected that the 76-year-old died of stomach complications. His body at the moment is being treated at Case Clinic.

The deceased is survived by a wife and three children. He owned several industries in Uganda like Nice House of Plastics Limited, Jesa Farm Dairy Limited, Jesa Investments Limited and Nsimbe Estates Limited and at the time of his death, he was the chairman of Standard Chartered Bank Uganda Limited.
His death has left a huge gap in the business world where he has left a big impact. He started out in the import and export business in 1961 and later established Nice House of Plastics Limited in 1970. And in 1991, he gained full ownership of Uganda Batteries Limited and in 1988, he spearheaded the revival of the Uganda Manufacturers Association and served as its Chairman till early November 2000.
He was the business man of the year 1999 and was recognized around the world as an accomplished business man.
