Industrialist James Mulwana has died.

Mulwana  died from Nakasero Hospital today morning at 5:00am. It is suspected that he might have succumbed to stomach complications because at the time of admission he complained of stomach pains.

Mulwana has been an established businessman who owned several businesses all over the country. He owned Nice House of Plastics Limited, Jesa Farm Dairy Limited, Jesa Investments Limited and Nsimbe Estates Limited.

He was former Chairman Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) and at the time of his death, he was the chairman of Standard Chartered Bank Uganda Limited.

Mulwana’s body has been transferred to Case Clinic for postmortem.

He is survived by three children and a wife.
