NRM members who attended the retreat in Kyankwanzi have today agreed to  support the penalties and strict punitive measures against the institutions which  fail to utilize the funds given to officials during the budget process.

The caucus spokesperson Evelyn Antie said that members have agreed to reshuffle all government officials in charge of over seeing the utilization of funds allocated on their budget.The members agreed on this while receiving a budget  presentation from the minister of finance, Maria Kiwanuka.

The NRM members also agreed to revisit the operationalization of the youth capital venture fund because it has  raised very many complaints concerning the requirements of the youth who should benefit from the venture fund .

Hon Anite further said that president Museveni agreed with members to increase the productivity of coffee, tea among others.

The caucus today will discuss the Rules of procedure of the party regarding matters of the budget.
