Ssembabule district woman MP Hanifah Kawoya has called upon government to put up stringent measures to all people especially ladies who are leaving the country to go abroad for jobs.

MP Hanifah Kawoya says that on her tour to some Arab countries together with MPs on the equal opportunities committee of parliament, they interfaced with many Ugandans in these countries whose main source of living was got through prostitution.

Hon Kawoya told reporters at parliament that such people have created bad image to the country internationally saying that such people must not be allowed to move out of the country without a clear proof of the kind of employment they have gone for out of the country.

The MP also recommends that government should work together with its missions in other countries especially in the Arab countries so that all Ugandans doing prostitution in these countries can be deported back.

She however advised Ugandans who have relatives in these countries to regularly hear from them saying that they met many Ugandans in prisons as many others die in these countries and buried in desserts without the knowledge of their relatives.
