Former vice-president of Uganda ,Dr  Speciosa Wandira Kazibwe has been pinned by people of Busoga region for withdrawing  and not refunding money amounting to shs58 millions from a fund meant for poverty eradication.

The money in question had been provided by State House under the SHE Foundation ,which Kazibwe who is currently a Presidential Adviser on Micro Finance launched in March ,2012.

State House  had given out Shs182 million to the Foundation to give soft loans to residents.However it is reported that on 27th March 2012 ,Speciosa Kazibwe together with one  Ms Juliet Wandira  who is her relative  withdrew the money in question  from Bank of Baroda Railways Branch  in Kampala.

A statement from the bank indicates that the former Vice President and her college got the money  just four days after it had been banked.

Mr Richard Musana, who had been acting  as the  Regional Coordinator and Credit Officer  told the press that people have been coming to  him for  loans .

Dr. Specioza Kazibwe  was the Vice President of Uganda from 1994 to 2003.
