Fire has gutted a Gatwick Express train at the London Victoria station and the train station is currently being evacuated.
National Rail Enquiries in a statement confirmed the fire saying, “A train is on fire at London Victoria station, because of this, the station has been evacuated and trains are unable to run to and from the station. Journey times may be extended by up to 45 minutes.”
Transport for London also added: “Victoria Mainline Station is currently closed (incident). Expect increased vehicle traffic and pedestrian movements on roads in the area.”
It is not clear if there are people hurt or how many have been hurt.
The news comes just after a helicopter crash occurred Tuesday in London which two people are said to have died.
News just in says the fire has been put out and the station re-opened.
