Elton John introduced to the world his new-born baby boy, Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish John who is now two weeks and four days old only.

Elijah was born January 11th through a surrogate becoming Elton John’s second child after son, Zachary Jackson Levon who is now two years old. The mother of Elijah is the same one for Zachary, Elton revealed.

Talking about the surrogate mother, Elijah said, “She is a wonderful, kind and loving woman who we love like a sister,” he said. They also used the same egg donor. “We kept a scrapbook for Zachary with all his scans, emails with the surrogate and key moments from the surrogacy, and we are doing the same for Elijah. We want the boys to understand the spirit and love that was at the heart of the process.”

“All we hope is that Zachary and Elijah are healthy and happy,” Furnish said. “They will always be able to rely on us for total love and support, and we hope they grow up to live their own lives and be who they want to be, not who we want them to be.”

“I have learned that a parent’s capacity for love is endless,” John said. “When another child is born, our depth of love just grows deeper and wider, so it was very emotional.”
