The electoral commission has today released the programme to be followed as Butaleja draws back to the electoral field to elect their new area woman MP, following the mysterious death of Cerinah Nebanda on 15th December last year.

The chairman electoral commission , Eng. Badru Kigundu  on  Wednesday revealed that the programme kicks off tomorrow with a stake holders meeting at  the district headquarters .Nominations are set for 21st to 22nd January 2013 and polling  is set for 11th February 2013.

Meanwhile, the deputy IGP, Okoth Ochola and the head of operations, Turyagumanawe told journalists that police will deploy experienced police officers to maintain law and order in the area  .He has  warned those  who intend to cause chaos during the exercise that they will  face the roughness of  police.
