By Juma Nsubuga

The parliamentary committee on East African Affairs in partnership with Development partners will in February  this year organize training for local government leaders across the country about the common market protocol.

The chairperson of the parliamentary committee of East African Affairs Sarah Mwebaza said that this training will create awareness to the community and business people about the benefits of the common market.

Hon Mwebaza also said that this will help to monitor the level of compliance about the issues of East African community integration at national level.

She added that people are not aware of EAC issues because they have not internalized the meaning of the East African common marker.
