The district drug inspectorate in Arua district has carried out inspections on drug shops where 6 drug shops were closed.

Anthony Banya West Nile regional supervisor confirmed that a good number of drug shops operate illegally without licenses adding that they are not ready to carry out the business.

Banya said that they also closed six drug shops which did not meet the minimum requirements to operate in Vurra County during the inspection.
Banya said that some of the drug shop owners are not qualified to operate a drug shop.

“ During the  inspections we realized that some of them  are senior four leavers”, Banya noted.
