Owing to the improved performance in the 2012 Primary Leaving examinations ,top and traditional schools are highly expected to hike their entry points ,and  make it hard for average students to join.

Schools like Uganda Martyrs Namugongo, Namilyango College, St Mary’s College Kisubi, Mt St. Mary’s Namagunga, Gayaza High School, Nabisunsa Girls School, Trinity College Nabbingo ,Makerere College are all expected to hike their entry points.

UNEB Executive Secretary , Mathew Bukenya said that the performance of 2012 PLE candidates is better than that of 2011 with 88.4% of 2012 and 86.4% representing an improvement of 2%.
