A cat has been detained in  Brazil with contraband goods for prisoners strapped to its body with tape.Since the cat doesn’t speak,police wants the cat to lead them to the person responsible for the action,BBC reports

The cat was trying to smuggle items which include drill bits, files, a mobile phone and charger, plus earphones into prison,Brazilian authorities said

The white cat was apprehended crossing the main prison gate. The incident took place at a jail in Arapiraca city, 250km south-west of Recife in Alagoas state .

“We were very surprised by this new tactic of prisoners,” said prison officer Luiz de Oliveira Souza, who noted that the cat was probably trained in the big house and was cared for by relatives of the prison’s 263 inmates.

The incident took place at New Year.
