A section of Buganda region MPs have deliberately refused to sign on the petition to enable the parliament be recalled to address  the unlawful arrest of legislators .

Though Buganda  region MPs like Joseph Ssewungu MP Kalungu West,Medard Sseggona Busiro East,Nabirah Ssempala Kampala district,Mariam Nalubega Butambala district and Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda Kyadondo East  have spear headed the exercise of soliciting signatures from fellow colleagues to recall the House ,other MPs from the region have refused to sign.

Those who have refused to sign  include ,Khidu Makubuya,Byandala Abraham,Saida Bbumba,John Ssimbwa,Robert Migadde,Abdul Kitata,Isaac Ssejjoba,Florence Kintu,Fred Bbada,Tim Lwanga,Fred Ruhindi,Anifa Kawooya ,Dorothy Mpima,Nantaba Aidah,Peace Kusasira,James Kakooza,Nankabirwa Getrude,Bakaluba Mukasa,Margret Komuhangi,Annie Maria Nankabirwa,Sammuel Ssemugaba,Amelia Kyambadde,Maria Kiwanuka,Edward Ssekandi,Kasamba Mathias,Kabajo Kyewalabye,Eunyu Nantume,Bakabulindi Charles,Birungi Nanyondo Charol,Temulanda Nakawunde,Rosemarry Najjemba,Nakato Kyabangi,Maria Mutabamba,Sylvia Namabidde,Benny Namugwaanya,Tonny Ssemuli,Vincent Ssempijja,Moses Kafero,Namayanja Nsereko among others.

Idah Nantaba-Has not signed

The petitioners say that they are going to tell the public that most of Buganda region MPs have betrayed the nation.

The Buganda region MPs who have already signed the petition to recall the House  include; Joseph Ssewungu,Mariam Nalubega,Mohammed Nsereko,Patrick Nsanja,Amos Lugoloobi,Ssempala Mbuga,Medard Sseggona,Joseph Balikuddembe,Deo Kiyingi,Bbosa Kiyingi,Ssali Beker,Mathias Mpunga,Mathias Nsubuga,Nabirah Ssempala,Kasibante Moses,Ken Lukyamuzi,Hussein Kyanjo,Latif Ssebbaggala,Ssebuliba Mutumba,Betty Nambooze,Suzan Namaganda,Muhammed Kawuma,Godfrey Kiwanda,Kaddu Mukasa,Rosemary Sseninde, Issa kikungwe, Florence Namayanja, Haruna kyeyune Mohammed Kivumbi, Lulume Bayiga, Gilbert Bukenya,Fredah Kase Mubanda,Godfrey Lubega.
