There was a bomb scare in Butambala district after mourners saw an unidentified object which they feared was a bomb.

Mourners immediately called police who came and took the suspicious object for inspection.

The bomb scare happened during the burial of Hajj Ibrahim Mpungu. Some of the mourners were Kampala Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago and Supreme Mufti, Zubairi Kayongo, among others.

Hajj Mpungu was father to the owners of Masaka S.S and Kibibi S.S.
