Fake  fashion braces have hit the Asian market .Asian teens have embraced the metal mouth style  which is also  common in Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.So far ,two teens have  so far died of from wearing the fake braces.

Teens in Southeast Asia  have been buying black market braces — fake metal-and-rubber mouth accessories in a rainbow of colors and designs  for around $100 a pop. Hello Kitty and Mickey Mouse are popular options for most young stars.

In Bangkok, paying for dental care is costly, with real braces running around $1,200 — a hefty sum for the average family.

The  fake braces  according to  Oddity Central website points have a dark side: they can come loose and slip into the throat, or can cause sores on the gums and inside the mouth. Plus some of the wires may contain lead.
