The Arua municipal health educator Robert Ongom has urged the locals in Arua district on the dangers of drinking untreated water.
Ongom while meeting the press in Arua on Monday evening said that the district is facing the challenge of water scarcity during the dry season.
The Arua municipal health educator noted that the dry season is always associated with scarcity of water which forces people to search for any source of water to survive on.
He says treating water before consuming it will prevent people from getting water diseases like cholera, and bilharzia, among others.
Ongom also thinks that Water born diseases are associated to climate change.
