A team of Americans medical doctors under their umbrella the American Medical Team are offering free treatment to residents of Palabek in Lamwo District.

The American medical doctors are giving free treatment to many patients; some of whom have not had the chance to reach for treatments because of poverty.

Among the illnesses they are treating are simple operations, Malaria, cervical cancer among other tropical diseases.

Most of the patients travelled to Kitgum district for treatment because of the poor services in their health centres.

The Palabek-kal sub county LC3 Chairman James Otto appreciates the initiative saying it would save the burden patients face while looking for treatment in the neighboring districts of Kitgum and Gulu districts.
