50 people in Masaka Municipality were today asked to vacate the park due to lack of  enough toilets in the place.

Kalule Charles the health officer at masaka municipal council told the press  that they asked  people to vacate the park to prevent them from contracting diseases from the single latrine  they have been using.

The angry park dwellers accused the municipal authorities of failing to set up modern toilets in the park.The health officials however insisted that they should not come back to park if enough toilets are not put in place.

The crackdown on toilets is set to be conducted throughout the municipality to prevent the spread of diseases.
