Ugandan activists under the  ‘For God and my Country’ (4GC)  have announced the  resumption of  their rallies from next week.The major  issues to be addressed include addressing the ‘Post Museveni Era, advocating for more rights of Ugandans  and ending the rampant corruption.

Addressing journalists at the 4GC offices in Katonga on Wednesday ,former Forum for Democratic Change President ,Col.Kizza Besigye said that the era of Museveni has put many things out of order ,and it will necessitate good strategies to go though this era.

He added that the rights of Ugandans have been undermined for long and they seek to restore the people’s freedoms through their campaigns .

“What we want is not money but support the right of Ugandans to express themselves and demonstrate. It’s unfortunate that Uganda has continued to violate it. We are disappointed that all embassies and funders have remained quiet over the matter,” he said.

Meanwhile the group coordinator,Mathias Mpuuga announced that on 26 January  they will participate in the Clean Kampala initiative  like other responsible city dwellers to clean up the city and there after hold a consultative rally at Nakivubo Settlement Primary School.
