Three LC5 Councilors in Pader district are under investigation following the allegation that they attempted to extort money from the Pader Chief Administrative Officer last Friday.

Kennedy Akena of Ogom sub county, Toolit Francis of Acholi Bur and Godfrey Oringa of Pajule have been summoned to record their statements at Pader Police station.

They are said to have attempted to dupe the chief administrative Officer of Pader Grandfield Omondo to give them un specified amount of money so that they may suspend the LC 5 Councilor for Acholi bur, Francis Toolit.

They are also reportedly told the CAO, Omondo, that they would defend him on a private members motion moved by the Acholi  LC5 Councillor, Francis Toolit, to suspend the CAO over alleged mismanagement of office if he gives them money.

The DPC Pader Ambrose Sabbit told the press that the 3 have recorded their statement at the Pader Police station under the case number GAF 21 and that they will report at the police station on the 14th of January 2013.
