At least 248 students at  Makerere University will graduate with First Class Degrees.Makerere University’s  63rd Graduation Ceremony will be held for four days, from Tuesday 22nd to Friday 25th January 2013.

12, 409 students are set to graduate this year .5,821 (46.9 percent) of the graduands are female while 6,588 (53.1 percent) are male.

Meanwhile ,over 600 students may miss graduation over the omission of their names on the graduation  list .The University’s spokesperson ,Rita Namisango says  measures were being undertaken to ensure affected students are included on the list for graduation.

However she adds that  those who do not meet the requirements of graduation will have to clear them and graduate in the next graduation session next year.
