Robert Jeffress a Texas megachurch pastor recently claimed that President Barack Obama’s re-election victory would lead to the rise of the Antichrist.

Pastor Robert Jeffress who made headlines in 2007 with a Sunday sermon calling Mitt Romney a member of a religious “cult” has again come into the limelight by associating Barack Obama with the reign of anti Christ.

“I want you to hear me tonight, I am not saying that President Obama is the Antichrist, I am not saying that at all. One reason I know he’s not the Antichrist is the Antichrist is going to have much higher poll numbers when he comes. President Obama is not the Antichrist. But what I am saying is this: the course he is choosing to lead our nation is paving the way for the future reign of the Antichrist.” Robert Jeffress said

Barack Obama

“That’s why, ladies and gentlemen, I believe it is time for Christians to stand up and to push back against this evil that is overtaking our nation, to stand up and push back against these actions that are paving the way for the final world dictator. The best way to push back against unrighteousness is at the ballot box.”He added

  1. Kamara says:

    Ps Robert,

Assuming you are correct, then we don’t have to worry because the Bible is clear, only Christ Himself will defeat the anti Christ. Why would you then misslead your flock to fight God’s will. The Bible is clear, the anti Christ who has been around (says the Bible) will emerge and do what he is supposed to do until the Armageddon when The Lord returns.

I hope you are not suggesting your flock should have voted for a Mormon that you despised previously.
