Princess Ruth Komutale’s wedding is imminent .Preparations for Toro Kingdom’s princess (sister to Toro King Oyo) wedding are are on going with just a few days remaining .
Toro Kingdom Princess Komuntale will wed her African American fiancé Thomas Christopher in a royal wedding on 17th November 2012 .
Komuntale will first introduce her fiancee Christopher Thomas at a ceremony known as ‘okwanjura’ at the Omusuuga’s residence in Gweri, on Kamwenge Road, 4 miles from Fort Portal town before the the wedding ceremony.
The wedding ceremony will be held at St. John’s Cathedral in Fort Portal and the mass will be held by Bishop of Rwenzori diocese, Reuben Kisembo. It will be followed by a reception at the Karuziika.
The wedding had bee scheduled for July 14 but was postponed.Brian Muganzi one of the officials who are on the committee announced that that they had received information from king Oyo about the postponement.
Muganzi said that King Oyo told the organizing committee that he postponed the wedding to November 17th 2012 to enable him have enough time for preparation.

Meanwhile a section of Batooro has threatened to boycott the royal wedding ceremony over land wrangles in Tooro kingdom between the Queen mother Best Kemigisa and the Batooro .
This comes after one Andrew Irumba accused Kemigisa of selling 100 acres on Block 44 in Kibito, Bunyangabo in Fort Portal to Uganda Land Commission (ULC) at Shs 5b, which he claims was sold to his father Augustine Irumba (RIP), by the late Toro King Olimi Kaboyo. This resulted into the forceful eviction of sitting tenants from this land recently.
