Thousands of Ugandans have flocked Kololo Independence grounds to celebrate Uganda’s 50 years of independence.

Different presidents from different countries have already arrived at Kololo . South Sudan President Salva Kiir, President Joseph Kabila of Congo, Pierre Nkurunziza of Burundi  ,Yahaya Jammeh of Gambia, Joyce Banda of Malawi, Paul Kagame of Rwanda, Mwai Kibaki of Kenya, Jakaya Kikwete of Tanzania ,Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud  of Somalia among others have turned up for the national  celebrations.

The Duke of Kent Prince Edward has arrived at the venue. MPs and members of the general public have arrived at Kololo ceremonial grounds for celebrations to mark Uganda’s 50th Independence anniversary.

Different artistes have already entertained the crowds ,Pastor Wilson Bugembe  warmed up the crowd with his latest hit Sagala kugenda mu geyena’. Uganda’s song bird Julian Kanyomozi also entertained the crowds earlier .Jackie Chandiru also made a great performance.

People  also  being served  free food and drinks to make the event memorable.
