Traveling in Uganda is safe despite the Ebola break out in the country according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

WHO has not recommended travel bans or trade restrictions in the country despite the out break of the Ebola virus in the country.

The Ebola virus started in Kibaale district and so far, 36 people are suspected to have contracted the virus while more than ten have been killed by the virus.

Although no cases have been reported in the country’s capital city, Kampala, the president of the country, President Museveni warned against hand shaking, intimate indulgements and hanging out in public places.
