A Kapchorwa born, Kiprotich is now the Assistant Superintendent at the Uganda Prison Services as part of tokens of thanks for what he did for the country.
Uganda Prisons service spokesperson Mt. Frank Baine has said that Kiprotich who currently works as a warder with prison services has been promoted to a higher rank.
Before being promoted, Mt. Frank said, “We are looking of ways of rewarding him and off course promotion is one of them, he is still at the junior ranks but he has the capacity of going up to the Commissioner General level,” he said.
He described Kiprotich as a determined, very simple but hardworking young man who can perform well at any level he is promoted to.
