Sara Nampijja popularly known as Sera Nampijja who sang the ‘contagious’ hit has died.

Sera died yesterday as she was coming from from Masaka from where she had gone  to attend a burial of her producer’s father.

It is said she complained of  pain in stomach while on her way to Kampala and shortly she started vomiting blood  and blood also oozed out of her ears and nose. She was rushed to Kitovu hospital  after getting medication from a clinic  but died as she reached the hospital premises.

Sera is said to have succumbed to ulcers a disease she has been battling with for  while and it is reported that the complications which led to her death developed because she had taken sometime without a meal.

Sera has released several songs which include fire, sunrise, contagious and at the time of her death she was finishing up with her latest album she was to release soon.

She was signed to Muyenga based swangz avenue.
