Mase consultants once again hosted thousands of children and parents to yet another fun filled my kid is superstar festival last Sunday. The event had tens of bouncing castles, clowns as well as lots to eat and drink as children participated in different games.

However, unlike the past my Kid is a superstar festivals, this time round Joseph Masembe the chief planting which is the major aim the recent Uganda’s little Hands Go green campaign. And as such, every child received a tree seedling courtesy of National Forestry Authority. But the highlight of the event was the new Green identity cards that were issued out to every child that attended the event. Masembe told us that the aim of the IDs to create a Green Movement that will grow with love and respect for the environment.

“Every ID represents a tree and we want the children to grow with their trees. We will also involve experts to frequently check on the progress of the trees and advise the children how to take care of their plant,” Masembe said.
