Joseph Kony the leader of the Lords Resistance Army (LRA) has remained a threat to Africa even after being dislodged from Uganda to Central African Republic.

With blood of thousands of people in Northern Uganda DRC and CAR  on his head ,the warlord has since failed to be captured to face the law under the International Criminal Court.Strange and a mystery, that is the right way to describe Joseph Kony ,for his brutal disfiguring  and massive killing of people -but his sister Gabriela Lakot Gabriela Lakot  who still lives in Odek, northern Uganda, where Kony was born reveals yet more mysteries about Kony especially when he was born.

Joseph Kony was Born in 1961  in Odek,East of Gulu.Although he has described as a brilliant dancer ,footballer and dedicated alter boy at his church during his childhood,he was always quick to retaliate in a dispute and when confronted he would often resort to physical violence.

Years later, hacking  people to death, chopping off people’s ears and boiling babies was what described him,he had become a curse to his family. It was however not a surprise at all.The family knew it the day he was born that he would not bring any joy to their family.

“As soon as Kony was born he stood on his own two feet,” she says. “Everyone was astonished and wondrous saying: ‘This child is strange.’

“God has brought a curse on this family – that was my mother’s lament. Kony brought so much trouble on us up to now. Everyone hates us.” his sister Gabriela Lakot Gabriela Lakot told the BBC in an Interview.

His family members wives and children have been affected negatively by his violent acts .Some of them especially  his wives have since failed to be accepted back in their families for associating with him and have to look after their children singly.
